My passion is to come alongside people who are struggling with difficult life situations, people who may be experiencing negative thought patterns, or depression or anxiety or relationship issues.  I have worked with people from many ethnicities, cultures, and socio-economic situations.

I believe one of my  greatest strengths is my ability to empathize with you, in a warm and caring way, helping you to explore the issues that you are facing in a safe and secure environment.  Together we can work through your depression, anxiety, grief or relationship issues.  Talking about your current situation, and events from the past, will open  up new ways of thinking and being that will enable you to achieve your goals.

We will work together to increase self-awareness and change in how you feel, think and act, leaving behind unhelpful patterns and developing new patterns of thought, feeling and behaviour for a brighter, happier and healthier future.

I work using a variety of theories such as family systems theory, cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioural therapy, solutions focused therapy and narrative therapy, integrating the therapies to personalize therapy to each individual and their situation.

Working from a standpoint of the person as a whole, considering the emotional, cognitive,  and interpersonal dimensions of the client, seeing you through the broader context of your life and experience both past and present, and walking alongside you on your path to a healthier, happier you.
